Are You A Desperate Career Chaser?
If you do not take purposeful steps to land a decent job even after prolonged waiting, it is a veiled acceptance that your qualifications or skills are inadequate. Remember that there is a big difference between the current situation and that which prevailed during the yesteryears. So, to blame others or external situations for your problem may be piffle. External situations are indeed one part of this big issue. But blaming them without taking any steps to address the issue is a sin. If you sit idly instead of building your armor, you will continue to remain in the same spot. So, plunge headlong and take the following steps.
1. Be more disciplined and organized.
If you want to improve yourself and become a potential employee, you must be ready to work purposefully and with more discipline. Of course, this is a trait you may find hard to achieve. But if you make consistent efforts, you can succeed. Opting for less demanding routes will not get you results.
2. Never align with negative-minded folks.
There may be others like you who may not have landed good jobs. If they have a positive attitude and are ready to sweat it out, there is nothing wrong with associating with them. But if they are negative-minded, their negativity, which is a contagious disease, will rub off on you as well. So, keep them at a distance.
3. Develop a curiosity mindset.
Regardless of your age, gender, or qualifications, you should never stop learning. Be inquisitive, but in your extreme inquisitiveness, don't become a rolling stone. By becoming a rolling stone, you can never acquire in-depth knowledge. Choose a field and acquire as much knowledge as possible in it. Of course, once you become confident enough and believe that you can handle things on your own, you can shift to another field to continue your pursuit of knowledge.
For example, Artificial Intelligence is a hot topic now. You can try to acquire good knowledge in AI. You can then try to develop insights in the field so that you can apply them in branches such as medicine, diagnosis, coding, engineering, manufacturing, robotics, and so on. Remember that no field is impenetrable as far as the pursuit of knowledge is concerned. A curious mindset alone can help you in such endeavors.
4. Never put limits on your capabilities.
Never underestimate your abilities. Scientists have proved that we humans are not using even 1% of our mental abilities. They have also proved the plasticity of brains. The more you try to learn, the more you will be able to develop insights. As they say, even the sky is not the limit. So, focus on improving your abilities continuously.
In summary, the above steps will help you come out victorious from your desperate situation. You can scale unimaginably great heights sooner than you think.

No Pain Point; Only Gain Point, Unglamorous Though.
Not landing a decent job can be an intrusion of considerable proportions in anyone's life. Not being able to climb the rungs of the career ladder is a similar ordeal. Although several factors contribute to this, experts consider the advent of artificial intelligence a key factor. A few other experts contest this because, according to them, AI will not rob the job market. They cite statistics to prove their point. This may help remove the plaintive mood of folks. But in general, the number of people who opine that AI is making the job market tight is more than those who think otherwise.
What should job seekers do in this tight situation? Can they approach influential acquaintances to help them land a job? Obviously, such requests may receive ominous stoniness or responses from those acquaintances. In this context, the only option available to these job seekers is that they should keep improving their skills. They must expand their knowledge.
If you are a job seeker or have been aspiring to climb your career ladder quickly, you may think that improving your skills or expanding your knowledge is the pain point. Though making strenuous efforts may cause pain, you must look at the gains the exercise brings. Let us dive a little deep into this topic.
Focusing is difficult.
Attempting to improve your skills or expand your knowledge is difficult. The reason is that you need the utmost focus to achieve the aim. Especially in the present-day context, when social media, television, and other communication modes are major distractions, you may find it difficult to focus. You need to put forth a lot of effort.
There is a way to escape from distractions. Whenever you find that your mind is wandering, you should deliberately bring it back to the task at hand. You may not succeed immediately. You should keep on trying. Even if you succeed in concentrating for a few minutes, it is a great thing. You can gradually increase the duration. Very soon, you will find that you are able to focus for a longer duration.
The process may be unglamorous, but.....
People may feel that the process of improving their skills or expanding their knowledge is unglamorous. So is the fight against distractions. But regardless of the strenuousness of the process or the arduousness of the efforts, you will reap rich dividends if you consistently try. Thanks to this process, you can adapt a commanding posture in the job market. If you are already employed and have been aspiring to climb the rungs of your career ladder quickly, you can afford to have a say while spelling out your terms.
To summarize, the efforts you put in to escape distractions and gaining skills or expanding your knowledge cannot be called a pain point. On the contrary, it is a gain point, unglamorous though.
